Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Attorney Craig Cochenour Honored with Memorial Lecture Award by Duquesne University School of Pharmacy

Pittsburgh, PA, April 2, 2009 — Craig G. Cochenour, a shareholder in the Intellectual Property Section of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Pittsburgh office, is this year's recipient of The Hugh C. Muldoon Memorial Lecture Award. The award was presented to Cochenour by the Rho Chi Society of the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy.
On March 31, Cochenour served as keynote speaker at the Rho Chi pharmacy students' honors banquet held in the Duquesne University Ballroom in Pittsburgh. His paper titled "Generic Drug Approval Process and Branded Drug Patents: The Hatch-Waxman Act Meets The Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement And Modernization Act" was previously published by the American Society For Pharmacy Law (ASPL) at its National Symposium. Cochenour recently delivered a CLE program at the symposium, which was attended by individuals from the pharmaceutical industry, government board of pharmacy regulators and academicians from the U.S. and abroad.
